En Guarde - D&G vs VB

According to  daily mail, Dolce and Gabbana hit out on Victoria Beckham  stating she isn't real fashion designer and instead is more H&M !! One word Ouch , but what can you expect from the world of fashion ehh.. Now I may not be quite the fashion designer just  yet but to say VB hasn't done quite well for herself is a bit of a lie .Whether she has paid designers to work for her or she has a degree in fashion , you can't  deny the fact that VB has got herself up there with the greats and while this  may have left  a few raised eyebrows , who is to say there is right or wrong of becoming a fashion designer after all there is no right or wrong answer in fashion nor success.

However who's to say it won't work , Marc Jacobs and LV made some of the best designs  I ever seen . Perhaps Alexandra could add a bit urban style  to balenciaga couture sophistication.

Our Mission Statement
Our aim is to produce cutting edge clothing that appeals to the working women. We do this through are bold but elegant pieces. Our clothing line will not only embody and style our customers but will also take in consideration social awareness, by the use of quality but eco-friendly materials. 
In order to make sure we reach our goals with our products and customers, we have created  some company values  to help guide our company .  These values are:
·         Strive to Be the Best in All We Do:  Our Company, we will try to constantly improve, expand our skills, and strengthen the quality of our work whilst maintaining our original style.
·         Product Perfection: Apart from perfecting our products, we aim to also  prefect our service by improving  the experience  our customers have with us through enhancing  the layout  of our stores and the display of the products  both online and offline. Secondly the way we treat our customers   will also be looked into for further improvement.
·         Improve the image of the brand : whether it be in speeches  or advertisement , our goal is to improve the our image as this will help create better brand awareness. We will do this by  ensuring whatever we put out there  has been checked ,selected and thought through.

Our customer profile is aimed at women ages 18- 40 who work for a living but have a fun sociable lifestyle. Women who have great fashion taste and aren’t afraid to push the mark with their clothing. We also aim to ensure our customer’s fashion desires are fulfilled by making sure our clothing lines are on trend 24/7 and are highly accessible.

Our fashion brand will distribute our clothes   both online and offline.  The brand will firstly have a website where our customers can view our clothes, check out   the latest news, and of course purchase our items. We will also distribute our clothing through other websites such as ASOS, Farfetch as this will help with brand awareness and accessibility.  We also have a pop- up store during the autumn/winter season where Bamba and Jibo’s collection will feature in a store in Oxford Street .
Competitors

Banana Republic- Banana Republic is a clothing and accessories retailer created by Gap Inc. It was originally created and owned in 1978 by Mel and Patricia Ziegler but later bought by Gap who has changed the style to more upscale look.

Zara- Zara is a Spanish retail and accessories line based in Arteixo, Galicia, made in 1975 by Amancio Ortega and RosalĂ­a Mera. It‘s currently the largest global retailer.

Fashion Trends for 2014

Hi Guys,
             I've been recently checking out latest fashion trends and I must say  I am totally inspired. It's great to  see fashion really going out there  with not only colors but different types of materials  too. My personal favorite has got to be the punk trend  as it's a  great combination of   materials  such as metal and other materials like  leather , (plus I happen to be a fan of the music). However  this trend isn't just straight punk it's more punk but  with sophistication  thanks to brands like Chanel and Givenchy, making easier for people to get into the scene

Another style I'm currently loving  is world play as it pays homage the hip-hop/ rap genre  as well as slogans.It 's a great way of getting  your point across without needing to say anything , as well as it can be  transition from summer to winter through shirts and jumpers. Besides who doesn't like a bit of word play!






Pastels

This trend is probably one of best trends right now , as has the best in colors and textures. It has the ability to softened any outfit  with the  right  kind the color and textures or  even  hardened an outfit   depending on the rest of the look.
